10C 1914 PCGS PR65

$1,875.00

We just do not understand sometimes what PCGS is looking for to grade a coin. We see no reason why this piece is not a PR66.

Both sides have deep, crystal clear, super clean, and highly reflective mirrors. The toning is made of moderate olive/pale blue colors and is not dull or drab at all. There is no question this coin is totally original. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and delicate frost. The eye appeal is fantastic!

ONLY 425 pieces were minted. PCGS 25, NGC 39, CAC 3. We estimate maybe half of the mintage survives, and less than 25% of them survive in PR64 and higher. The last PR65 to sell in a major auction brought $2,300.00 06/2010 B+M. An NGC PR65 brought $1,725.00 04/2010 Heritage. These also do have a CDN published bid of $1,400.00. Opportunity just can not knock any louder here!
