This coin is a high R-7 with LESS than 7 or so pieces minted. It is tied for FINEST KNOWN with the NGC PR66 Cameo Simpson coin. The metal used was aluminum.
Only a minor planchet imperfection keeps this coin from a PR67 Cameo designation. The surfaces are totally original and have a light mist of toning (yet the coin looks untoned). Both sides glitter with totally clear, clean, and highly reflective mirrors. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is absolutely phenomenal!
