J- 312a 2C 1863 PCGS PR64BN DENALI COLLECTION

This is a R-6 (12-30 minted).

Both sides are evenly covered by a deep chocolate color. A few teenie toning flecks are hidden on the left obverse, otherwise the surfaces look clean. The mirrors are minimal and the coin is more semi-glossy. Every detail is needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is excellent!

PCGS 3, NGC 0, CAC 1. Any 2C Pattern collector will agree this date definitely is NOT as common as the R-6 designation makes it seem. PCGS has only graded 2 higher (both 65’s).
