What and amazing GEM AU!
Both sides have an incredible luster. There is a possibility this coin was dipped LONG AGO and is now coming back VERY NICELY (dipping is nothing to be afraid of so long as it is done properly). This does NOT look like a washed out coin. There are a few ticks and a small scratch scattered about both sides. The reverse and the right obverse has a reddish gold color along the peripheries. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have great strikes. You need a strong glass to to detect any wear. The eye appeal is phenomenal and then some!
PCGS 3, NGC 1, CAC 1. This is the highest piece stickered by CAC. PCGS may have graded a total of only 7 coins higher-and that’s after 21 years of operations! This is an extremely rare coin and once its sold, the chances of getting another-almost zero.
