Again, CAC is crazy strict on stickering $2.5+$5 Indians There are far too many over graded and puttied ones in holders.
In our opinion, this coin is a “no brainer” MS65. The surfaces are devoid of any major problems and there is no quantity of lines or ticks (especially on the reverse). A surprisingly strong luster shows off totally ORIGINAL gold/pale yellow color. There are NO spots or stains. Every detail is sharply struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 52, NGC 36, CAC 6. For some unknown reason, these recently fell a little in value. We certainly doubt any quantity of these got made. The last one to sell in a major public auction brought $17,825.00 11/2009 Stacks. Now is the BEST time to buy one!
