$20 1930S PCGS MS64
$149,500.00
Ex Simpson and Crawford (not noted on the holder). If this were a common date, in the old days, it could have been graded MS65! Today, its a high end MS64.
Both sides beam with originality. There is no fake color or putty (CAC would never sticker coins like that). The surfaces have a few very light abrasions-nothing is deep or distracts your eyes. A strong luster shows off beautiful light two tone like orange and deep yellow gold. Miss Liberty and the details are very well struck. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 17, NGC 4, CAC 2. This coin has been off the market for at least a decade!
The last one to sell in a major auction brought $149,500.00 05/08 Goldberg, and prior to that one sold for $152,375.00 also Goldberg but in 2007. An MS65 will cost you well into the $200’s. We just placed the only MS65 stickered by CAC. We expect this coin to sell fast as we know it is on multiple Want Lists.
