A VERY interesting piece. We have seen a few NGC DMPL’s that were not as deep as this GEM. It is VERY close to full DMPL status.
Both sides exhibit mirrors that are clean overall (just a few trivial ticks ob the lower left obverse), deep (at least 4+ inches, have a watery look, and offer powerful reflectivity. Some light reddish gold toning hugs the peripheries. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and fully struck. The eye appeal is very neat.
PCGS 29, NGC 31, CAC 2. In full GEM DMPL this date and grade would worth $25,000.00+-if you could find one!
