WOW! An out of this world SUPERB GEM that is the lone highest graded coin by PCGS. Keep in mind, that’s after 20+ years of operations and millions of coins.
Virtually perfect surfaces adorn both sides. Only some die clashing marks (which are Mint made) are visible. There is a VERY TEENIE copper spot under the neck. Not only are the surfaces semi-prooflike, but the luster is intense. The color is a stunning orange gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is tremendous.
PCGS 1, NGC 3, CAC 1. NGC has graded one MS68 which as of right now is not CAC stickered.
This coin last appeared in 03/04 B+M sale where it realized $25,300.00. Its been with the same collector since. And it is housed in an older green label holder.
