50C 1936S RHODE ISLAND PCGS MS67

Yet another Commem date and grade we have not owned for years. The sad part-Commems have so much potential.

This coin is gorgeous! Both sides greet you with an intense luster. You can clearly see the surfaces are perfectly clean. A moderate mix of original pale blue/purple/russet/violet colors all swirl about (the mix is more vivid on the reverse). Every detail is sharply struck and appears boldly. A great coin for a color lover!

This is still the rarest RI in MS67. 15000 were minted. PCGS 14, NGC 19, CAC 5. NONE are graded higher anywhere. The last one to sell in major auction brought $3,450.00 Stacks 03/09. Not a Commem you will see offered at every show or auction.
