Another of the spectacular duplicates we purchased from a major buyer at the Holmes and Naftzger Sales. This coin clearly was one you’d expect to be in a world class collection like his!
Technically, this coin is absolutely FLAWLESS. Not a tick, spot, of teenie whatever anywhere. The color is about 75% moderate brown with strong hints of GEM ORIGINAL MINT RED visible on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck save for some minor weakness in the stars. The eye appeal is incredible!
A much rarer coin than most people realize: PCGS 6, NGC 11, CAC 2. Of course PCGS has NONE higher, while NGC has one MS67RB. This coin is housed in an older green tag holder. We think at today’s prices, a coin like this is a “no brainer” steal!
