McCLAREN COLLECTION. There is clear doubling of the lettering on the reverse. Its very neat!
Even if this coin weren’t a double die, the quality is VERY HIGH END. Both sides have satiny and VERY clean surfaces. The dreaded right field is very clean. A strong luster shows off creamy centers that are framed by a thin hint of russet. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is terrific!
PCGS 49, NGC 23, CAC 1 (for a regular date). PCGS has graded only 21 coins higher. The last one to sell in major auction brought $805.00 05/2008 Heritage. Opportunity knocks loud for the serious Walker Collector who wants the varieties!
