10C 1821 PCGS MS65 LARGE DATE

An exceptionally rare and beautiful coin that if it were in an auction, you’d have to pay waaaay too much for.

We unhesitatingly rank this coin in the top 5% for the grade. Using a strong glass, you will find NO imperfections anywhere. The surfaces are smooth and emit a strong luster. Both sides have a gorgeous mix of royal, blue/navy/purple colors (these are NOT dull or dark colors). Miss Liberty and the details are way above average in strike. The eye appeal is really fantastic (these can come so dull and crusty)!

PCGS 9, NGC 0, CAC 2. None of the three services have graded any higher.

It is our strong opinion that coins like this are what need to be purchased now (since prices are so low) and put away for the long term. We do not expect they certainly will never find any great hoard of these, and if so, they won’t be in true GEM! The last one of these to sell in major auction brought an insane $43,125.00 07/08 Stacks. We’d love to know if that coin ended up in a higher grade holder.
