Only 12000 pieces were ever minted for this date. 1883CC’s are practically unknown in true Mint State. This coin is close!
Light traces of semi-prooflike mirrors can be seen. Under a glass there are light ticks-but none that stand out to the naked eye or hurt the grade. A surprisingly bold luster brings out the deep orange gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. The wear is very light and is not visible. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 7, NGC 15. In MS60 (which are the ONLY MS pieces graded) the pops are PCGS 1, NGC 3. Here is an excellent opportunity for any serious CC enthusiasts to expand their collection.
