Not a date or grade that is seen in any frequency at all.
Due the coin being struck on a rough planchet, the quality is excellent. Under a strong glass you can detect some minor adjustment marks along with some die clashing (all Mint made). The luster is intense and shows off the beautiful orange gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is nice!
We know this to be a VERY underrated date in GEM. PCGS 5, NGC 4. PCGS has graded 5 coins higher (hard to believe there are 4 MS67’s).
