When Mother Nature wants to put on a show, she sure knows how! This coin has MONSTER colors! WOW!
The quality is SUPER HIGH END. Almost “bullseye” type toning on the obverse. Electric shades of violet/magenta/royal blue/gold swirl in a circle on the obverse. The reverse has more gold in the centers with the same colors around the peripheries. You can clearly see the surfaces beneath the color. They are super clean and have an intense luster. Even using a strong glass, you will find NO marks. Miss Liberty and the details are perfectly struck. The eye appeal is mind boggling for sure!
PCGS 12, NGC 3. We do NOT think the PCGS pops are correct. We’d bet this particular coin represents several attempts for an MS67. There are only 2 MS67’s graded by PCGS.
