25C 1883 PCGS MS67 HAWIIAN

This is the first HI 25C we have ever owned or handled. It just looked too good and seemed to be priced very reasonable compared to past numbers. We bought a bunch of coins from this dealer who obviously was eager to sell. What the heck, we only live once!
Shimmering surfaces are satiny and have ZERO impairments. A beautiful ‘mist” of light champagne/gold/pale tangerine/lavender colors swirl about both sides. The luster is super intense and shows off sharply struck features. This coin does have exceptional life and eye appeal compared to others we have seen over the years.
PCGS 12, NGC 6. Between Jan 2009 and Jan 2007 the prices for these ranged from $9,775.00 to $16,100.00. The average auction record seemed to be for about $12,000.00. Even NGC coins sold for $11,500.00 (05/08 Heritage). None have been graded finer.
