Until recently, Commems were a dead in the water series. We do believe CAC is responsible for waking it up. We are starting to see more “quality” coins in holders vs. the low end ugly dreck that has been the norm.

This is a very lively ST. Typically, these are dull and crusty. The surfaces are incredibly clean and have a radiating luster (VERY unusual). A very faint hint of pale gold can be detected. All of the features are pinpoint sharp in strike and do stand out. The eye appeal is really superior!

PCGS 85, NGC 82. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $2,990.00 11/08 Superior. This coin is housed in an older green tag holder.
