Superb in every respect! Plus, this coin has definitely NOT been messed with (unfortunately most toned Indians seem to have been recolored).
You do not need a glass to see the clean and smooth surfaces both sides have to offer. A gorgeous mix of fiery orange gold/yellow gold/pale blue are enlivened by a full booming luster. There are NO discolorations. All of the details are sharply struck. This coin would MS65 every time-its not one of those “just made it” pieces. The eye appeal is stunning!
Do not let the pops fool you. This is not an easy coin to find in true GEM. PCGS 52, NGC 35. PCGS has only one MS66 and nothing higher. You can’t buy true GEM, colored, and CAC stickered pieces like this at “bid”. Since 2008, these have drastically fallen in price (in 2008 auction records show 3 sales between $19,550.00 and $21,850.00). Opportunity knocks loud here!
