1C 1793 WREATH PCGS AU58 VINE AND BARS

Hard to imagine how one of the first coins ever minted managed to survive in such a wonderful condition. That’s 216 years of being stored safely. We’re thankful for 3rd party grading as this coin will now be safely stored in a great state of preservation possibly forever!

Struck on a pretty much problem free planchet, this amazing coin has no visible imperfections. The surfaces are smooth and actually offer a decent luster. Critical for any copper piece: this coin has NOT been messed with. The color is an even glossy chocolate brown. There are NO stains or spots. The wear is not visible to the naked eye and even under a strong glass is minimal. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. Like the coins overall quality, the eye appeal is exceptional.
