$20 1898S PCGS MS65

We doubt if more than 5% of all 65’s graded have the quality to be CAC’d. That’s a true but horrifying statement. The grading services have perpetually been too loose on coins like this. True GEMs are VERY rare.

First and most important, this coin has NOT been messed with in any way. There is a light icy sheen of original color that evenly blankets both sides. Just a few teenie ticks can be seen in the fields which are both intensely lustrous and semi-prooflike. There are NO spots or discolorations. The main colors are a light yellow/orange gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 74, NGC 93. Prices have been beaten down on these because of all the bad ones selling recently.
