Three Cent Nickel Proofs seem to be taken for granted. They are an obsolete series over 100 years old. GEMS are not super rare, but they are are not common either.
Totally glittering mirrors are deep, remarkably clean, crystal clear, and of course have strong reflectivity. They shimmer like a freshly formed sheet of ice. Miss Liberty and the details are heavily frosted and are fully struck. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 55, NGC 22. The last one to sell in a major public auction brought $1,495.00 06/08 B+M.
Collecting a set in PR66/67 won’t break the bank. And it can be completed.
