One of the nicest Early $5 AU pieces we have been fortunate to acquire! The quality is easily VERY high end!
The wear is invisible and is limited to a few light lines. There are no bold patches of rub that are discolored or are flat. Overall, the surfaces are very clean and do have a very strong luster. The color is a beautiful pale orange gold, NOT a dipped out yellow. Miss Liberty and the details have sharp strikes and do appear boldly. You do not need a glass to see the overlapping 8’s. The eye appeal is fresh and lively!
