Superb in every respect!
The only thing we can see that keeps this coin an MS65 is some weakness in the stars. Otherwise, this coin is ultra clean, smooth, and has a strong luster. Both sides are a hearty mix of ORIGINAL Mint RD and about 1/3 light brown. There are NO spots or discolorations. there is a small remnant of a fingerprint on the obverse. Miss Liberty’s details are fully struck. The eye appeal is wonderful!
Housed in a first generation “pancake holder”. PCGS 39, NGC 5. Only PCGS has graded one MS66RB. These are NOT as common as you might think!
