Only 450 pieces were ever minted. We doubt any dealer alive has handled more 1915 GEM PR coins that us! We just love the date and think it is over looked.
One look and you know this coin has sat undisturbed since the date it was minted. Totally original moderate album toning has a semi circular pattern. The colors are faded purple purple/blue/pale violet/golden brown. Beneath the toning, are intense mirrors that have the ultimate in clarity, cleanliness, and reflectivity. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have light silvery frost. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 9, NGC 15. Only NGC has graded a single coin higher.
