No question this piece is totally original: it has the “dirty” European look to it.
This coin is solid for the grade. It does have typical numerous tiny ticks. The color is a deep yellow gold that mixes with light original toning. The luster is above average and does add to the eye appeal. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. this is not an AU58 in an MS61 holder!
PCGS 3, NGC 2. The last one to sell in a major sale brought $18,400.00 in 02/07.
