Excellent quality!
Looks more like a high end 1904 borderline MS than a rare CC that’s 130 years old. There is no major visible wear. Thin lines are visible, however there are no discolorations on any of the high points. A noticeably strong luster also shows off beautiful yellow gold color. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
Only 17,281 were minted. PCGS 12, NGC 31. PCGS has graded only 2 coins higher. NGC has 4. Still a very difficult date to locate in Choice AU. The last one to sell in major auction brought $12,650.00 06/08 B+M.
