J-0147 $1 1852 PCGS PR65RB

$9,500.00

WOW! This Ring Dollar is like and electric neon sign! It is an R-7 (7-12 minted).

Formerly from the Simpson Collection of Patterns, the FINEST EVER assembled. This coin was crossed from a NGC PR65. Both sides have killer deep, clear, clean, and flashy mirrors. There are MINT MADE die striations visible with a glass. A beaming mix if electric chocolate/blue covers both sides. Every detail is needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is phenomenal!

PCSG 3, NGC 0 (the NGC tag is included). Only PCGS has graded 2 PR66 RB’s (one is in the Simpson Collection). As with Judd 140 (listed above), we think Patterns like this are extremely undervalued. PCGS/NGC possibly have certified only 9 coins total. Compare the value of this to any other coin from 1852 in GEM PR. The Judd Book listed this date at $7,500.00 in PR65. We paid more than that for this rare beauty!
