$1 1870CC PCGS MS62

This is not your average 70CC in choice condition. It is as nice and high end as they come! We have actually seen one 63 that this coin blows away!

Outstanding surfaces are surprisingly clean. Traces of semi-prooflike mirrors combine with a booming luster to really enliven the beautiful reddish gold/pale purple colors that even blanket both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have exceptional strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic!

Only 11500 or so were minted. PCGS 8, NGC 2. PCGS has graded possibly 8 coins finer-the highest graded is a MS64. The last one to appear in a major auction was an NGC coin which sold for $27,888.00 02/08 B+M.

We can’t stress enough how high end this coin is.
