G $1 1859 PCGS MS65

This is a totally fresh and beautifully colored GEM! It is housed in an older green tag holder.

Both sides are awash with superb two tone colors of orange/pale greenish gold. This coin has not been dipped or stripped. A full booming luster also shows off very clean surfaces. There is some minor die clashing visible on the reverse (Mint made). Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have fabulous strikes. The eye appeal is also fabulous.

Do NOT let the mintage of over 200,000 fool you. Most were in circulation and few survived in GEM. PCGS 15, NGC 14. PCGS has only 12 coins graded higher.
