To us, this coin looks incredibly high end! It is so rare when you see a TRUE GEM, let alone and ORIGINAL TRUE GEM on these early pieces.
The surfaces are virtually flawless. Only under a glass could you detect a faint toning dot or any kind of blemish. NOTHING negative is visible to the naked eye. Amazingly, after nearly 174 years of being out in the world, this coin retains a tremendous amount of its original luster. To us, that is mind-boggling! The color is a crisp ORIGINAL light brown with fantastic hints of original mint red. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. This piece is far superior to 99% of what you will see offered in RB holders.
The BIDS are stupid for this coin-as practically NONE have traded. Even so, this coin is nearly a MONSTER! PCGS 4, NGC 11. The last auction record for one of these is from 2004! You certainly can not find any PCGS coins for sale save for every few years!
