We purchased this coin from one of the pickiest collectors we know-who has been collecting forever and has a remarkable eye! We have NEVER seen him own any thing even close to so/so (hey collector did we kiss up enough? SELL US MORE COINS!).
Everything about this GEM is mind blowing! It is totally original. Both sides feature incredible mirrors that actually have powerful reflectivity. They are remarkably clean and have a shade of light reddish/golden brown toning scattered about. There are NO spots (save for a toning dot or two). Every detail is needle sharp and DOES have frost. The eye appeal is total WOW, WOW, WOW! This is definitely a coin its new owner will forever cherish!
A mere 80 coins were minted. Do NOT lets the pops fool you-these are impossible to locate really nice (that means not just buying plastic). PCGS 15, NGC 9. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $32,200.00 04/08 Heritage. This is NOT that coin.
