1C 1855 NGC PR64 BN BUCKEYE III

Wicked cool! only a small die cut (a cut in the planchet when it was made) keeps this coin from being a full PR65+.

This coin has NEVER been messed with! Overall, this coin is exceptionally clean. The mirrors are actually flashy and are problem free. A light layer of chocolate/mint red/pale blue colors cover both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is wonderful.

We do know this is from an original PR set broken up recently. We did not break it, but we did buy most of the remaining set (sorry all those coins are now sold). ONLY 100 pieces were minted. PCGS 4, NGC 2. ANY GEM PR LARGE CENT IS UNDERVALUED (in our opinion).
