J-0272 $5 1860 NGC PR65BN

This is an R-6 (14-30 minted). Yet another beautiful design that was not to be.

This piece is of very high end quality. There is a teenie planchet flake below the chin that you need a glass to see, other wise this coin is virtually perfect! The mirrors are incredibly flashy and clear. A wonderful mix of eye popping light chocolate/gold/pale green colors swirl across the surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are lighter in color and have extra sharp strikes and frost. Everything about this coin (including the design) is beautiful!
