1C 1915 PCGS PR66RD

For those of you copper collectors who keep track, this coin has NOT been on the market in years (our guess is 6+ years). That means it has NOT been in ANY auction or offered even privately until now. The holder pre dates the bar codes. It has been with one picky collector who is now shifting his priorities.

Unquestionably, this coin is totally original. There are NO spots, but the reverse does show some light toning patches. The surfaces on both sides are extremely clean, matte like, and have a surprisingly strong luster. The color is a rich Mint Red. Lincoln and all of the details are needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is wonderful.
