This is NOT an MS65 in an MS66 holder! Unquestionably, this coin is a rock solid MS66!
We are impressed also by this coins strong originality. It has not need dipped out, puttied, or messed with. The surfaces are very clean and have a satiny look. Some Mint made die clashes are visible. There are no spots or discolorations. The color is a deep yellow gold that is brought nicely by the strong unbroken luster. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is impressive.
PCGS 13, NGC 10. PCGS has graded only 4 coins higher (the last one at auction sold for $110,000.00).
