Maybe if these coins were a little bigger in size they would sell for what they are worth! it is our VERY strong opinion that most high grade PRE 1863 3CS are undervalued. This piece has BOTH, stellar quality and unquestioned rarity.
Shimmering mirrors are incredibly clear, strikingly clean, and of course are highly reflective. All of the lines are on the holder-NOT the coin. Every detail is needle sharp in strike and has real and strong frost. A thin band of auburn/golden brown frames the rims and adds to the blast. The eye appeal is very terrific!
ONLY 800 were minted. PCGS 1, NGC 1. There are NONE higher! Think about this-20+ years and million upon millions of coins graded and there are only ONE PCGS and ONE NGC coin with NONE higher? Now that confirms are extremely rare coin!
