Why this coin is not worth at least $10,000.00 is a mystery to us. It clearly has the numbers to be there.
Quality wise, this coin is VERY high end. The surfaces are exceptionally clean and smooth-even when viewed with a strong glass. An unusually strong luster enhances the moderate dove gray/blue/pale golden brown colors spread evenly on both sides. This is NOT a dull or drab coin! Miss Liberty and the details are incredibly struck and boldly stand out. No matter how picky you are, you WILL love this coin. If you don’t, you are totally unrealistic!
The rarity os this probably is misunderstood as well as totally over looked. PCGS 5, NGC 4, In MS64 PCGS+NGC EACH have graded 2 coins-with NONE higher! The last one of these to sell in amajor auction brought $3,220.00 09/07 Goldbergs. We think this coin is absolutely “stupid cheap”. It should be noted that the “commoner” Medium date only has 8 graded PCGS MS63 and 5 in PCGS MS64-still VERY rare.
