$1 1889 PCGS PR66 CAMEO

Yeah, we can only imagine the skeptics trying to accuse us of inflating a description. NOT! We really do handle coins like this that absolutely are in the top 2% for the grade and have killer looks. Seeing is believing! Thats how we have been able to build the world class collections we have (when not any coin will do).

Why isn’t it a PR67? We looked hard and can not answer. It is far prettier than even a PR68 we once saw, has virtually NO lines or visible problems. The mirrors are incredibly crystal clear and have powerful reflectivity. Gorgeous hues of russet/pale violet/golden brown/blue interminge just right and really capture your attention. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and clearly have thick frost. Your eyes will pop out when they see this masterpiece!

Only 811 pieces were minted. In true Cameo these are rare (and unheard of in UC). PCGS 2, NGC 7. PCGS has only 2 higher while NGC has 11. This coin has it all, quality, rarity, phenomenal eye appeal.
