Save for some moderate streaky toning, this coin is totally clean and Superb. The mirrors are deep and flashy. There are NO spots. Every detail is so sharp you’d swear they were hand engraved with a razor sharp knife! The eye appeal is nice.
This piece is tied for the finest graded of any color at PCGS. PCGS 3, NGC 0. NGC has NONE finer.
Think about this, ANY PR Large Cent from 1855 in PCGS PR65RB would cost you at least $12,500.00 if you could ever find one (the est mintage was 100). This coin not only incorporates the Large Cent denomination, but it captures the Flying Eagle value as well. Even a common FE PR in PCGS 65 sells for at least $20,000.00.
