WOW,WOW,WOW! George found this beast and could not put it down. His biggest regret-we don’t have anyone specific building a PR65 set. This coin would certainly be a highlight!
Electric blast silvery white mirrors show no unnatural flaws. There is a “as made” planchet dump at 3:00 on the obverse. Not even the best ocean diver could find the exact depth of these mirrors. Their clarity is unmatched. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have light frost. We are not exaggerating or hyping this coin. When you see it in person, your jaw WILL drop! 1904’s are never seen with mirrors like this. The image probably does not due this GEM justice.
Only 650 pieces were minted. PCGS 28, NGC 37.
