$20 1885 PCGS AU-58

WOW! What a stellar example of this extremely rare (only 750 minted) date. This is not one of those typical scrubbed up or dirty pieces. Both sides have fully prooflike mirrors that do reveal tiny lines and a few tiny scattered ticks. The color is a beautiful yellow gold. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details do stand out with crisp sharp strikes and light frost. We absolutely have seen far worse in MS60-MS62 holders over the years.
