WOW! Typical for the date (because only 4500 were minted) fully prooflike surfaces dominate both sides. A full sparkling luster shows off the bright yellow/orange gold colored surfaces. There are NO stains or spots. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is fantastic! Only using a very strong glass can you see any traces of even the slightest lines indicating wear. We definitely have seen worse in MS holders. If you are super picky about your early gold-this coin will make you smile. PCGS 5, NGC 11. Yet again, this is another early gold coin where all of the published prices are flat out wrong!
