1C 1798 PCGS MS-63 BN S-174 2nd HAIR STYLE

This is probably one of the few Husak coins you’ll see offered for sale. Most were sold to the 150+ active collectors who jammed the auction room or the 900+ unique bidders who registered for his sale.

The quality of this coin is astounding! It is an original semi-glossy chocolate brown color. The planchet has no pitting and is clean and smooth overall. A surprising strong luster beams from both sides. There are NO spots or problems anywhere. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. Its hard to believe this coin is from 1798-it looks phenomenal! This piece is a prime example why collectors absent from the scene for years turned up at the Husak Sale. We paid strong money for this piece because we know we have never seen ANY other 1798’s in MS. Once the Husak coins are gone, we doubt we’ll see any again. These don’t show up on our pop reports.
