$10 1801 PCGS MS-61

From what we understand about the coins origins, it has only been to PCGS once-never to NGC. It is from Europe and was held by a major dealer there for years. We did pick this from a small group of other incredible Early Bust coins (we did buy a 1795 PCGS AU55 $10 as well-thats sold via want list).

Imagine the ultimate 1801 $10. Well, this coin does have a few trivial ticks, but they do NOT stand out. The surfaces are lusterous and just rock with an incredible mix of deeper orange/reddish gold/deep gold color. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and have remarkable strikes. They do stand out in a Cameoed sort of fashion. The reverse is full MS63 quality. We can not stress enough how super high end this coin is. PCGS is so stupid with these right now we won’t send it in for a regrade. We won’t guarantee it will ever MS62, but you compare to others in that grade and you will agree this coin is as nice, or BETTER!
