$20 1925-D PCGS MS-64

Growing up we always had so much respect for this rare and hard to find date in true GEM condition. Today, sadly we see too many coins graded MS64 that should not. We think they got confused with generics.

Of course we only buy the coins that are better than average. This piece we rank as a real MS64.6+. The surfaces are smooth, very clean overall, and do have a decent luster. The color is a light two tone orange/yellow gold mix that is beautiful. Miss Liberty and the details ARE definitely above average in strike (these actually can come flat). good luck in finding one of the four MS65’s PCGS has graded. if thats what you do want, keep in mind you’ll be writing a check for probably $100,000.00 these days!
