The obverse of this piece has clearly sat in a Wayte Raymond album for a long time. The periphery has a deep ring of blue which blends into violet/golden brown colors. The centers are whitish. The reverse is frosty white. Both sides have ultra clean, clear, and deep mirrors. Miss Liberty and the details are extra sharp in strike. The eye appeal-well lets just say NGC does not designate and ugly or funky looking coin with a star! 912 pieces were minted. PCGS 6, NGC 15.
