1881-CC $1 PCGS MS-66

Here is one of two coins we purchased from a collector at the show. He had very nice pieces. This coin is beautiful and has a gorgeous crescent of color. Most impressive is the clarity of how clean the surfaces are. Even using a strong glass, you will see few flaws. We wish ALL Morgans could be graded like this! The texture of the surfaces are lightly satiny. A strong luster shows off the beautiful blues/greens/golds. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and sharply struck. Plus, her cheek is fabulously clean. We unhesitatingly rank this coin in the top 5% for the grade. It is that super high end.
