For a 170 year old coin, this coin sure twinkles like a younger star!

Surprising light semi-prooflike mirrors are on the obverse. Both sides do have a pleasing semi-satiny texture. Using a very strong glass, its hard to find any problems. The obverse has a totally original and pretty mix of olive/navy/rose/green color. The reverse is deep pewter/pale golden brown (probably the side that sat on felt). Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have exceptional strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous!
