We can not stress enough the extreme rarity of this date in DMPL, the rarity of this date with colors, and this date being a colored DMPL!
Full 8″ mirrors are super deep. They do have numerous TINY ticks and giggles-what you would expect for a full DMPL. The mirrors do offer great clarity and are intensely reflective. Both sides are drenched with totally original moderate shades of blue/pearl green/olive/pale magenta/gold/rose colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have excellent strikes. The eye appeal is crazy!
PCGS 66, NGC 40, CAC 5. The current Collectors Universe Value is $2,700.00 for a nice white coin. Remember, this is hard to find fully colored 1879 DMPL!
