Love these tough and very underrated coins. This is a real AU58!
Everything about this coin is original. The “skin” has never been dipped or messed with. You do have some very minor ticks and light giggles (scattered lines) on both sides. There are traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. The color is a crisp and totally original orange/yellow gold color mix. There are NO discolorations on the high points. The wear is light and is not really visible. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have excellent strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic!
ONLY 4850 were minted. PCGS 33, NGC 118, CAC 7. Do NOT be fooled by the pops, the last one of these to sell in major auction was a PCGS NON CAC. That piece brought $3,525.00 10/2011 Stacks. This coin will make a great addition to ANY AU or even MS set!
